It's a beautiful, sunny Monday here in Vancouver and I've just finished photographing my sewing room for the tour. I freely admit to tidying up for the photo shoot.

Where the Magic Happens
The lovely ladies at Mad About Patchwork have invited me on their summer tour of Canadian studios. I will let you know when the schedule is posted so you can follow along and see where many of your favourite bloggers spend their days (and nights!) creating. In the meantime, you might want to check out their shop (located just outside Ottawa in the town of Stittsville where I used to roam the famous Flea Market on weekends when I was a teenager). They've got some fabulous fabrics on clearance and they are taking pre-orders for Cotton and Steel or the Far, Far Away reprint coming in August!

I'll write a more extensive post explaining how I store my fabric, notions, scraps, tools and more during the blog tour, but for now here's the view into my sewing room from our hallway. Hope to see you back for more soon!

How exciting to participate in this tour! Nice excuse to tidy up too, right?! Looking forward to the full reveal.
What lovely light! I love the chandelier and colours both of how you have organized your fabric and also what's on the wall

looks so inviting! Pretty cheery and inspiring! I did a pretty major cleanup of my studio for the pictures - now to see if I can maintain it!
